Purpose and who we are

This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) details the personal data AID s.r.o. (“AI Dental”, “we”, “us” or “our”) receives about you through our online interfaces (e.g., website and mobile application), how we process it and your rights and obligations in relation to your personal data. AID s.r.o., a company registered at Panenská 8, 811 03 Bratislava, Slovakia is the data controller for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and any relevant local legislation (“Data Protection Laws”).

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand what we do. If you do not understand any aspects of our Privacy Policy, please feel free to contact us at privacy@aidental.ai. Your use of our site and/or mobile application is also governed by our Terms of use.

What information we collect

We want you to understand the types of information we collect as you use our services.

Collected when you create an account in the mobile application

Personal data that we need to create your account in the mobile application and that enables you to use our services.
The type of data collected and used depends on how you create your account, and if you use third party services to sign in. This may include your:

  • name

  • surname

  • profile picture

  • email address

Personal data that you can additionally provide us with in the mobile application and that enables you to use some of our services.

  • your course start date

When you respond to a survey or take part in user research, we collect and use the personal data you provide.

Description

Authentication partners

If you register for or log into the mobile application using another service, we’ll receive your information from them to help create your account with us. That information may contain:

  • name

  • surname

  • profile picture

  • email address

  • user ID from social login provider

Analytical services partners

We use with mobile application analytics that collects data about click-based events you do in the application. This includes:

  • date and time of your login into the mobile application

  • type of device you are using

  • how you proceed between screens and content sections

  • mapping IP addresses to non-precise location data (e.g., country or region, city, state).

This help us to know better how the users interacts with the application, which content is more or less relevant, where the users came from and what devices users prefer.

Technical service partners

We work with technical service partners that give us certain data. This includes:

  • mapping IP addresses to non-precise location data

  • operating system

  • script errors

This makes it possible for AID to troubleshoot application errors using services like Crashlytics.

How we use the information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Provide our services

  • Maintain & improve our services

  • Develop new services

  • Provide personalized services, including content and ads

  • Measure performance

Be informed

Be informed of the personal data we process about you and how we process it.

  • through information provided to you as you use the AI Dental Service

  • by answering your specific questions and requests when you contact us

Access

Request access to the personal data we process about you.

To request a copy of your personal data from AID:

  • contact us to get all information we hold about you at once

If you would like more information about how we process your personal data, you can contact us.

Rectification

Request that we amend or update your personal data where it’s inaccurate or incomplete.

You can edit your User Data under ‘Edit profile’ in your account or by contacting us.

Erasure

Request that we erase certain of your personal data.
For example, you can ask us to erase personal data:

  • that we no longer need for the purpose it was collected for

  • that we process based on the legal basis of consent, and you withdraw your consent

  • when you object (see section ‘Object’ below) and

    • you make a justified objection, or

    • you object to direct marketing

There are situations where AID is unable to delete your data, for example when:

  • it’s still necessary to process the data for the purpose we collected it for

  • AID´s interest in using the data overrides your interest in having it deleted. For example, where we need the data to protect our services from fraud

  • AID has a legal obligation to keep the data, or

  • AID needs the data to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. For example, if there’s an unresolved issue relating to your account

There are several ways you can erase personal data from AID:

  • you can remove content from your profile by selecting the relevant content and choosing to remove it.

  • you can also contact us directly to request erasure

Restriction

Request that we stop processing all or some of your personal data.
You can do this if:

  • your personal data is inaccurate

  • our processing is unlawful

  • we do not need your information for a specific purpose, or

  • you object to our processing and we are assessing your objection request. See section ‘Object’ below

You can request that we stop this processing temporarily or permanently.

You can exercise your right to restriction by contacting us.

Object

Object to us processing your personal data.
You can do this if:

  • AID is processing your personal data on the legal basis of legitimate interests, or

  • AID is processing your personal data for direct marketing

Data portability

Request a copy of your personal data in electronic format and the right to transmit that personal data for use in another party’s service.
You can request us to transmit your data when we are processing your personal data on the legal basis of consent or performance of contract. However AID will try to honour any request to the extent possible.

Not be subject to automated decision making

Not be subject to a decision based solely on automated decision making (decisions without human involvement), including profiling, where the decision would have a legal effect on you or produce a similarly significant effect.

AID does not carry out this type of automated decision making in the AI Dental Service.

Withdrawal of consent

Withdraw your consent to us collecting or using your personal data.
You can do this if AID is processing your personal data on the legal basis of consent.

Contact the Slovak Authority for Privacy Protection or your local data protection authority about any questions or concerns.

Updating or Deleting Your personal information

You can manage your account settings in the Profile section of the mobile application to update, amend, and correct your information. You may also choose to delete your account.

Retaining your personal information

We keep your Personal Data for no longer than necessary for the purposes for which the Personal Data is collected and processed. The length of time we retain Personal Data for depends on the purposes for which we collect and use it and/or as required to comply with applicable laws and to establish, exercise, or defend our legal rights.

Children´s Privacy

The AI Dental mobile application does not address anyone under the age of 13. That means that the AI Dental mobile application has a minimum “Age Limit” in each country or region. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13.

If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us via privacy@aidental.ai.

Changes to this Policy

We may occasionally make changes to this Policy.

When we make material changes to this Policy, we'll provide you with prominent notice as appropriate under the circumstances. For example, we may display a prominent notice within the AI Dental mobile application or send you an email or device notification.

Please be sure to review the most recent version of this Policy so that you are aware of how we collect, use, and retain personal information.
